An amateur radio operator reported downed trees blocking Bailey Road in Lanesborough.

Wider weather episode

A slow moving cold front was the causing factor of showers and early afternoon thunderstorms across western Massachusetts on Saturday, May 3, 2025. A couple of these thunderstorms became severe in strength, inflicting wind damage to trees in Berkshire County. A few reports were conveyed to NWS Albany of downed trees blocking roadways and causing temporary closures.
