Law enforcement reported of a tree down in Fordoche.

Wider weather episode

Widespread thunderstorms developed in east Texas on May 26th along a stalled frontal boundary. Those storms merged into a Mesoscale Convective System late in the afternoon and raced southeastward. As those storms moved across the local area, a severe wind gust wind gust occurred in Pointe Coupee Parish.
