Wider weather episode
A slow moving mid level disturbance embedded within a larger scale upper level system moved across the Gulf South. Widespread showers and thunderstorms developed over the local area as this feature moved through. At times, storms passing across pockets of increased instability were able to strengthen to severe limits.
