Strong/severe thunderstorms formed over the foothills of Larimer County during the afternoon of June 29th, producing large hail. Only 1 inch diameter hail reports were received with these storms, but radar support golf ball or larger for brief moments. Storms weakened as the pushed eastward. Eventually another severe thunderstorm formed during the early evening hours.
