Event narrative

Heavy rain produced flash flooding west of Meridian. Several roads were impassable due to high water, including the intersections of 65th Avenue and Old Eighth Street Road, Highway 19 North and College Drive, Fifth Street by Eddies Grocery, and 40th Avenue and 35th Street. These roads were noted to be prone to flooding.

Wider weather episode

Several storms produced quarter size hail and heavy rains which resulted in flash flooding across several roads west of Meridian.
