Report via social media. Measured a 50 mph gust using a handheld anemometer. A few trees down along with numerous 1-3 inch diameter branches.

High-based showers and thunderstorms produce strong to severe wind gusts with the high wind of 69 mph at the I-70 and Pecos in Denver. Tree some tree, tree branches, and fencing were blown down.
