What the National Weather Service wrote

In Sharon, significant street flooding was reported on Canton St, Norwood St, Hampton Rd by Oak Hill Dr, and on Dean St at the railroad bridge. A car was stuck in flooding on Commercial St.

The wider storm

A tropical airmass overhead contributed to localized flash flooding in eastern MA in the early morning hours. Many roads were closed due to flooding, including both directions of I-93 near Braintree where cars got stuck in water.

Began near Sharon (42.1400, -71.1700).
