Event narrative

A waterspout was observed about 5 miles west of the U.S. Route 1 Blackwater Sound curve. Another condensation funnel cloud was observed in the vicinity of the waterspout.

Wider weather episode

A complex upper trough over the Atlantic coast combined with active convective cumulus cloud lines over the Upper Florida Keys and week inhibition resulted in scattered showers and thunderstorm producing isolated gale-force wind gusts and an isolated waterspout.
