The Weatherflow site at the Folly Beach County Park measured a peak wind gust of 44 knots.
Wider weather episode
Clusters of strong thunderstorms developed in the morning hours along a west to east oriented stationary front. Some of these thunderstorms produced strong wind gusts along the coast. Another thunderstorm in the afternoon produced a waterspout.
