Dorchester County Emergency Management reported a large oak tree down on power lines near the intersection of Maple Branch Road at Twins Lane.

An isolated thunderstorm developed along a stationary front in the afternoon hours across northern Dorchester County. The thunderstorm became strong enough to produce damaging wind gusts near St George.
