Strong thunderstorm winds knocked down a tree on wires between Gamble Road and Willow Heights Road.
Wider weather episode
An area of low pressure and a frontal boundary lifted north across the area during the afternoon and evening drawing up plenty of moisture from the south and increasing instability. Wind shear values also ramped up during this time, helping to trigger scattered thunderstorms, some severe with locally damaging winds and heavy rain. It was also determined that a microburst occurred in Delaware County.
