A thunderstorm produced three inch diameter hail north of the Lyndon Baines Johnson State Historical Park.
The wider storm
An upper-level shortwave trough generated thunderstorms on the warm side of a stationary front that was stretched across Central Texas. Some of these storms moved into South-Central Texas and produced large hail and a few damaging wind gusts.
Began near Cave Creek (30.3300, -98.6300).
