A thunderstorm produced ping pong ball size hail in Kerrville Schreiner Park.
Wider weather episode
An upper-level shortwave trough generated thunderstorms on the warm side of a stationary front that was stretched across Central Texas. Some of these storms moved into South-Central Texas and produced large hail and a few damaging wind gusts.
