Event narrative

Madison County EM reported minor snowmelt flooding coming from an elevated bench area east of Thornton. The water was cascading down the hill, pooling into farm fields adjoining the neighborhoods and threatening to inundate homes. Sandbagging prevented further property damage to homes.
