Strong thunderstorm winds knocked down wires onto trees on Penn Avenue.

A frontal boundary coming in from the west moved into a very warm, moist and unstable environment, leading to the development of scattered showers and isolated thunderstorms. Storms started out as cellular in nature before becoming more linear with locally damaging wind gusts and hail being the main impacts.
