Social media report of a car that stalled attempting to drive through the Ames underpass in downtown Cheyenne. Report states that there was a foot of water on the shallow side and 2 feet on the deep side.

The wider storm

A push of monsoon moisture into southeast Wyoming lead to the development of widespread showers and storms that eventually converged over the city of Cheyenne. Intense rainfall lead to impressive rainfall rates, resulting in urban flooding across the city.
