NWS storm survey found the path of an EF0 tornado that touched down along Adger Rd near the intersection of Highway 135 and moved ENE across the south side of Easley. The tornado crossed several residential neighborhoods where numerous large limbs were snapped and several pine trees were uprooted. The tornado dissipated over a neighborhood near Crestview Rd.

Wider weather episode

A couple of waves of strong to severe thunderstorms moved across upstate South Carolina during the afternoon and the evening. A few of the storms produced brief damaging wind gusts and even a brief tornado.
