Thunderstorm winds downed trees and lines at numerous spots in town, including roof damage to a structure on Lawton Street.

During the evening hours of the 28th, a line of slow moving thunderstorms brought heavy rain and gusty winds to southern Indiana. Thunderstorms generally remained sub-severe but a few spots in Knox County experienced damaging wind gusts with power outages as high as 2700.
