The ASOS station KP53 Munising Lakeshore recorded a brief 34 kt wind gust associated with a line of thunderstorms at 10:27 PM EST on the 15th.

A deep low pressure over the Upper Midwest sent multiple rounds of severe weather through the over the nearshore waters of the Bay of Green Bay and Lake Michigan, first by an occluded front on the 15th and then with the main low pressure and associated cold front on the 16th.
