Outflow emanating from approaching convection over the eastern gulf produced gusty winds and localized hazardous seas resulting in the capsizing or grounding of multiple vessels operating in the waters of Saint Joseph Sound offshore the Tarpon Springs and Palm Harbor areas of Pinellas County. Local emergency management reported that a total of fifteen people were rescued from the waters, one of which suffered an injury requiring medical attention.
