FAA employees at the Palm Beach International Airport air traffic control tower reported a waterspout about 12 miles east of the airport over the near-shore Atlantic waters off Palm Beach County.

High moisture levels across South Florida in association with a stationary front over North Florida and upper level low pressure over the eastern U.S. led to favorable conditions for showers and thunderstorms over the nearshore Atlantic waters off South Florida.
