A county official reported via social media that flooding was affecting Calle Monserrate, just before Governor Luis Muoz Marn Elementary School, due to heavy rain, and the creek was overflowing its banks. The road was impassable.

Unstable and wet weather conditions were anticipated in early May due to a combination of abundant tropical moisture and a series of upper-level troughs moving over the region.
