Broadcast media through social media reported severe flooding in Cedro Arriba, sector Los Lpez, due to the overflow of the Rio Mavilla. Video footage shows floodwaters covering the roadway, making the area impassable.

The wider storm

Unstable and wet weather conditions were anticipated in early May due to a combination of abundant tropical moisture and a series of upper-level troughs moving over the region.
