A large tree was down and blocking IL-72 in Davis Junction. Another tree was reported down on power lines.

Wider weather episode

Two rounds of strong to severe thunderstorms moved across far northern and northeastern Illinois on the 3rd, the first during the early afternoon and the second during the evening. The storms produced marginally-damaging wind gusts in addition to widespread heavy rain and one brief EF0 tornado in Boone County.
