A personal weather station measured a wind gust of 52 knots (60 MPH). At least ten trees were snapped or uprooted on a nearby property on Daphna Road.

Several thunderstorms produced localized 60 to 75 mph wind gusts and hail up to quarter size from eastern West Virginia into north-central Virginia as a lee side pressure trough developed in a very hot and unstable environment.
