A severe thunderstorm dropped hail the size of half dollars on Main Street in Bristol.
Wider weather episode
A strong upper level shortwave trough and surface cold front pushed into a moisture rich airmass across New Hampshire on the afternoon of June 19th. This allowed for isolated thunderstorms to develop with one storm becoming severe.
