The Big Sioux River near Bruce continued above flood stage from June, further rising to a crest around 2.49 feet above flood stage (10.49 feet). The river then fell below flood stage during the early morning of July 6th.

The wider storm

River flooding from heavy rain at the end of June continued across the upper Big Sioux River Basin before falling below flood stage within the first few days of July.
