Pictures were received through social media of multiple trees blown down by severe thunderstorms wind gusts.

Wider weather episode

A forward propagating MCS moved into the far western Kansas counties mid evening on the 6th. Reports of downed trees were found across parts of Meade county, while a flood watch was in effect for most of the southern counties.
