The Fort Bridger WY AWOS (KFBR) recorded a wind gust of 74 mph as a result of outflow winds associated with a nearby cluster of showers and thunderstorms moving through the area.

Wider weather episode

Another grazing shortwave trough resulted in the development of isolated to scattered convection, some of which produced strong to severe wind gusts in southwest Wyoming.
