A tree was blown down by strong thunderstorm winds near the intersection of Main Street and Preston Highway in Lebanon Junction.

A quasi-stationary front was located over the lower Ohio Valley on June 6th, 2025, with multiple waves of showers and storms riding along and south of the front. During the morning hours, temperatures warmed into the low 80s with dew point temperatures in the low-to-mid 70s. This allowed for an unstable environment to develop ahead of a wave of showers and storms, with between 2000-2500 J/kg of MLCAPE in place. With decent mid-level west-southwesterly flow over the region, around 30 knots of deep layer shear was present, which was sufficient to keep convection organized as it moved across central Kentucky during the late morning and early afternoon hours. While poor mid-level lapse rates and relatively unidirectional flow limited the overall severe weather potential, there was still scattered strong to severe convection across central Kentucky. Isolated wind damage was reported within the strongest storms, especially along and south of the western Kentucky and Bluegrass Parkways.
