Significant swath of wind damage stretching across the southeast portion of the county. Damage and downstream reports were indicative of over 85mph winds.

Wider weather episode

A line of thunderstorms moving quickly along a cold-front tapped into significant low level shear and instability to cause widespread and significant wind damage across swaths of north Georgia. Winds of nearly 90mph were observed even as the line weakened.
