For the month of June, Cochise county ranked the 30th wettest for the period of record. Soil moisture readings increased to between the 1st and 5th percentile for the month of June.

The exceptional (D4) drought category continued in the far eastern section of Southeastern Arizona. The total area from portions of Graham, Greenlee, and Cochise counties. The overall precipitation for Arizona ranking was 20th wettest for the month of June. Soil moisture readings was between below the 1st percentile to 10th percentile ranking for the area.
