Lee County dispatch reported trees down on powerlines on Main St as well as trees down on Dogwood Dr in Bishopville, SC.

An upper trough translating across the eastern seaboard combined with a surface frontal boundary moving through the Southeast resulted in a round of afternoon and evening thunderstorms. Surface based CAPE values around 3000 J/kg along with remnant outflow boundary collisions resulted in a few storms to become strong, with 2 becoming severe.
