The passage of a strong cold front led to windy conditions, especially across the higher peaks of the Berkshire Mountains. Wind gusts anywhere from 20 to 40 mph were common across all of Berkshire County, however, with a peak gust of 55 mph recorded by the Pittsfield ASOS.
