The passage of a strong cold front led to windy conditions, especially across the higher terrain of the Southern Green Mountains. Wind gusts anywhere from 20 to 40 mph were common across all of southern Vermont, however, with a peak gust of 47 mph recorded by a Road Weather Information Station along Interstate 91 in Rockingham in Windham County.
