The US Drought Monitor indicated moderate to severe drought conditions across southern portions of Mason County during the month of June.

Wider weather episode

There were moderate to extreme drought conditions mainly along and south of an Ozona to Eldorado to Menard to Brady line during the month of June. However, drought conditions did improve across this area by the end of the month.
