Hail up to 1.25 inches fell in parts of central Kiowa County from an isolated supercell.
Wider weather episode
A broad shortwave pushed over the region, bringing increased shear and moisture, allowing for isolated severe thunderstorms to develop across eastern Colorado, one of which pushed into Kiowa County.
