Thunderstorm winds downed a tree at the Ramsey substation. The storm then moved southeast where it snapped tree limbs of up to 4 inches in diameter in St. Elmo.

A severe QLCS moved through south-central Illinois during the afternoon of July 16th. As the system passed, it produced tree damage in the region.
