The National Gridded Snowfall Analysis indicated snow 2 to 6 inches at elevations above 4000 feet. Precipitation amounts in the zone included 0.37 inches at Ash Creek, 0.22 inches at McCloud, 0.36 inches at Snowbrush, 0.17 inches at Mt. Shasta City, and 0.36 inches at Snowman.

Wider weather episode

The first of two cold fronts moving in quick succession across southern Oregon and northern California brought heavy snow to elevations above 4000 feet in Siskiyou County.
