Report of a 62mph measured wind gust in Cherokee County.

A frontal boundary was draped across Kansas into northwest Missouri, with numerous outflow boundaries bringing scattered showers and thunderstorms to southeast Kansas and the Missouri Ozarks. Although most of this activity remained sub-severe, a thunderstorm over Cherokee County was able to reach severe limits, bringing a strong wind gust of 62 mph northeast of Columbus.
