A frontal boundary was draped across Kansas into northwest Missouri, with numerous outflow boundaries bringing scattered showers and thunderstorms to the Missouri Ozarks. Although most of this activity remained sub-severe, a thunderstorm over Polk County was able to reach severe limits, with quarter size hail reported near the city of Olive.
