High temperatures from around 90 to the lower 90s combined with dewpoints in the lower 70s to produce Heat Index values ranging from the mid to upper 90s.

Hot humid conditions occurred across northern and eastern Maine during the 24th in advance of an approaching cold front. High temperatures across northern Maine generally ranged from the upper 80s to lower 90s...with mid to upper 90s across central and Downeast portions of the region. Dewpoints from the upper 60s to lower 70s were common regionwide. Heat indices across interior Downeast areas reached around 105 degrees...with mid 90s to around 100 degree readings across much of the rest of the region. A cold front brought cooler temperatures and lower dewpoints on the 25th.
