Event narrative

EM reported flow over CO-12 in addition to debris flow. Debris caused some overflow in roadside ditches. County Rd 420 and Indian Creek also experienced similar conditions at this time, but no sperate reports.

Wider weather episode

Heavy rainfall of 2-3 inches along the west side of Highway 12 triggered numerous debris flows and excessive runoff between Cuchara Pass and La Veta.
