For the month of July, Graham county ranked the 22nd driest for the period of record and Greenlee county ranked the 49th driest for the period of record. Soil moisture readings increased to between the 30th and 70th percentile for the month of July.

The exceptional (D4) drought category continued in the far eastern section of Southeastern Arizona. The total area from portions of Graham, Greenlee, and Cochise counties. The overall precipitation for Arizona ranking was 14th driest for the month of June. Soil moisture readings increased to between the 20th to 70th percentile ranking for the area.
