Strong thunderstorm winds knocked down a tree on road.

Scattered thunderstorms were supported by an unstable environment. Shear was weak, so most storms stayed sub-severe. However, one storm did become severe as it moved across the Mohawk Valley and Tug Hill Plateau. Strong gusts with this storm knocked down a tree onto a roadway. Otherwise, most reports this day were related to heavy rain.
