Wider weather episode
On the afternoon of June 18th, a few downed trees and power lines occurred as a result of hot and muggy conditions hovering over southeast Ohio. Storms grew strong enough to produce damaging wind gusts that led to two observations of downed trees in Perry and Vinton Counties. Activity quickly waned with the loss of daytime heating later that evening.
