Wider weather episode

In the midst of a heat wave in the Ohio Valley, abundant low level moisture and unseasonably hot temperatures worked in tandem to produce isolated thunderstorms on the afternoon of June 25th. This led to two instances of downed trees on that day, one occurring in Washington County and the other in Athens County. Thunderstorm activity within this weather pattern were primarily driven by daytime heating and quickly dissipated around sunset that evening.
