Event narrative

The entire zone remained in Exceptional(D4) drought in July. The Antelope Wells Cooperative Observer reported 1.49 inches of precipitation which was 1.65 inches below normal.

Wider weather episode

Most areas west of the Continental Divide had below normal precipitation once again, but some areas east of the Divide had above normal precipitation which resulted in some minor drought improvements.
