Extreme(D3) drought continued across the zone in July. The Truth or Consequences Airport reported 1.51 inches of precipitation which was 0.12 inches below normal.

The wider storm

Most areas west of the Continental Divide had below normal precipitation once again, but some areas east of the Divide had above normal precipitation which resulted in some minor drought improvements.
