Local broadcast media relayed a report of a roof blown off of a house in the town of Quitaque.

Very hot temperatures on the afternoon of the 21st allowed for a few isolated thunderstorms to develop across portions of the South Plains, and extreme southern Texas Panhandle. Several of these storms produced severe wind gusts as they collapsed. One storm that affected Quitaque (Briscoe County) caused a roof to be blown off of a house.
